As part of these efforts, a unique project is being considered to provide modern recreational facilities to the citizens of Gujranwala. Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Mohammad Ali, along with Director Development, Mohammad Abdul Rauf, visited the Municipal Corporation (MC) Parking Plaza and conducted a detailed inspection of its rooftop. Key Highlights of the Visit The Briefing: During the visit, the Director of Development briefed the Commissioner on the current condition of the parking plaza and its future potential. The Proposal: Commissioner Mohammad Ali proposed exploring the possibility of leasing the parking plaza’s rooftop to national and international food chains. This initiative aims to provide citizens with a modern, beautiful, and high-quality rooftop food court. Economic & Social Impact: The Commissioner emphasized that this project would not only offer a modern recreational environment for families but would also significantly boost the local economy, business activities, and tourism.
