“Quality and Patient-Friendly Healthcare is Our Top Priority as Per CM Maryam Nawaz’s Vision,” Says Commissioner Gujranwala Muhammad Ali During Children’s Hospital Visit
GUJRANWALA: July 14 — Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Muhammad Ali, has stated that providing quality, dignified, and patient-friendly healthcare facilities to the public is the government’s top priority, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Alongside medical treatment at government hospitals, special emphasis is being placed on the satisfaction of patients and their attendants to further strengthen public trust in the healthcare sector. He expressed these views during a detailed visit to the Children’s Hospital, Gujranwala. On this occasion, he personally met with the families of children being discharged from the hospital and obtained direct feedback from them regarding the availability of medicines, the attitude of the doctors, and other facilities provided. Commissioner Muhammad Ali listened to the feedback and suggestions of the families with keen attention and issued strict directives to the concerned officers on the spot to continuously improve the quality of medical services in light of public opinion. He made it clear that excellent cleanliness, the uninterrupted availability of free medicines, the polite behavior of staff, and timely treatment must be ensured at all costs. He further added that under Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Health Reforms Program, a modern healthcare system, transparency, and the protection of patients’ self-respect are our primary goals. He reiterated that public opinion and feedback are the core of the government’s policies, and revolutionary changes are being introduced in the health sector based on this input to ensure that every citizen of the division has access to the best medical facilities.
