Yeat releases his most focused album yet with ‘LYFESTYLE’

Rapper Yeat has returned with his latest album, LYFESTYLE, showcasing a more focused and refined sound while retaining the wild energy that made him a breakout star. Yeat told The Fader that the album was his attempt to lean more into his rap side, which is clearly evident throughout the project. Songs like “SPEEDBALL” and “LYING 5 FUN” feature the fast-paced synths and Autotuned vocals that fans came to love on his previous album, 2093.

However, what sets LYFESTYLE apart is Yeat’s ability to collaborate seamlessly with other artists. On the title track, Yeat teams up with Lil Durk, blending a trap-style instrumental with the rage-driven beats that have become his signature. Don Toliver also makes an appearance on the track “NEW HIGH,” with Yeat adding his signature distorted vocals to Toliver’s performance, creating one of the album’s standout grooves.

On the solo side, tracks like “SO WHAT” and “GEEK TIME” highlight Yeat’s unique vocal inflections, adding more depth to his performances. The album boasts a lengthy tracklist, ensuring fans will have plenty to enjoy.

With LYFESTYLE, Yeat has further cemented his place in the rap scene, offering a more polished sound while maintaining the bold energy that catapulted him to fame.
