Islamabad: DC Islamabad is appreciated for starting a practicing session in Islamabad secretariat building.
Islamabad District Commissioner (DC) Irfan Nawaz Memon has started a firefighting training and awareness session in the Islamabad Secretariat building. This is a commendable effort as it will help prepare the staff in case of an emergency.

The DC has directed all the officers of the secretariat to attend the session. He has also asked the building management to make arrangements for a fire drill. This is a very good step by the DC and will go a long way in ensuring the safety of employees in case of a fire.
The move comes after a recent fire incident in Centaurus Mall which caused damage to property. The sessions were conducted by experts and were very informative. The residents have lauded the initiative and said that such measures should be taken on a regular basis.
DC Islamabad is committed to the safety of its citizens and will continue to take measures to ensure their safety.
