LAHORE,April 02 : Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick are set to land in Lahore to take charge of the Pakistan team.
According to details, the national selectors will meet in Lahore from Monday to decide who will be in the squad for the upcoming home series against New Zealand.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who is currently in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah, will also be returning home soon. The arrival of the national team’s foreign coaching staff is also starting from tomorrow.
In the first phase, the head coach, Grant Bradburn, and batting coach, Andrew Puttick, will arrive in Lahore.
The arrival date of prospective team director and consultant Mickey Arthur’s arrival in Lahore is yet to be decided, while the bowling coach Morne Morkel is currently offering his services at the IPL.
Bradburn and Puttick will meet the PCB officials, the selection committee, and captain Babar Azam to formulate the strategy for the series against New Zealand.
The announcement of the Pakistan squad and coaching staff will be made formally on Tuesday after approval from PCB management committee chairman, Najam Sethi.
The national camp for the preparation of the aforementioned series will begin from April 7.
