Rawalpindi – Under the dynamic and visionary leadership of City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Hamdani, Rawalpindi Police continues to achieve major successes in crime control, with SHO Sadiqabad Luqman Javaid emerging as one of the most active and effective officers in the field.
In a major breakthrough, Sadiqabad Police arrested a key suspect involved in multiple cases of robbery, theft, and fraud. During the investigation, the accused confessed to his involvement in several crimes, and the police recovered more than Rs. 9 million (90 lac) — a rare and commendable 100% recovery of stolen money. This recovery is a landmark achievement in recent policing history.
The accused was wanted in cases registered in Sadiqabad, New Town, Pirwadhai, and Morgah police stations. The recovery and arrest were supervised by SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar and SP Rawal Muhammad Haseeb Raja, who personally handed over the recovered amount to the rightful owners. Citizens praised the efforts of the police and thanked CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani for restoring public trust through consistent action.
CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani appreciated the work of SP Rawal Muhammad Haseeb Raja, DSP New Town, SHO Luqman Javaid, and the entire Sadiqabad team. He stated:
“The accused will be prosecuted with solid evidence. The protection of citizens’ lives and property is our top priority, and we are taking every necessary step to ensure it.”
Outstanding Performance in the Last 20 Days
Under SHO Luqman Javaid’s supervision, the last 20 days have seen exceptional police work, including:
-

21 narcotics cases registered
-
20.450 kg of drugs recovered
-
8 stolen motorcycles recovered
-
2 murder cases (302) registered
-
6 total arrests, including 2 A-category proclaimed offenders
-
Cash & mobile phone worth Rs. 134,500 recovered
SHO Luqman Javaid has previously served in key positions across Rawalpindi and earned multiple commendation certificates and rewards from CPO Rawalpindi and IG Punjab for his dedication and honesty. His tenure has been marked by relentless night patrolling, strategic anti-narcotics operations, and public engagement that has made a visible difference in Sadiqabad.
A Rare Example of Police Efficiency
The Rs. 90 lac recovery is being seen as a rare and extraordinary achievement in Pakistani policing, as full recovery in such cases is often considered nearly impossible. This reflects not only the professionalism of SHO Luqman Javaid but also the vision and support of CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani, who continues to empower officers to perform without political or criminal pressure.
Together, they have proven that when leadership is strong and the team is dedicated, results speak louder than promises.
