DC CDA Sardar Muhammad Asif Takes Bold Decisions with Zero Personal Interest

ISLAMABAD: Demonstrating unwavering commitment to the public good, Senior Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif has once again showcased his dedication to upholding the law without personal gain. Under the directive of the Chairman CDA, Sardar Muhammad Asif has taken decisive action against illegal developments and environmental violations, reinforcing his reputation for making tough decisions with ease.

In a recent case, the CDA Planning Wing referred a matter involving Roshan Pakistan Housing Society, which had developed 270 kanals of CDA land—designated for parks, cemeteries, playgrounds, and other communal uses—without the necessary CDA permissions and in violation of LOP regulations. Sardar Muhammad Asif issued a final notice amounting to 2.70 billion rupees to the society, marking a significant step in curbing unauthorized land use.

Additionally, Irfan Rohijo has been served a notice for failing to install a sewage treatment plant and for discharging untreated wastewater into Mare Dam. If Rohijo does not appear in court on June 12, 2024, his national ID card will be blocked. This firm action underscores the commitment of Sardar Muhammad Asif to protecting public health and the environment.

It’s noteworthy that Sardar Muhammad Asif has previously imposed a 2.50 billion rupee fine and a three-year rigorous imprisonment on Chaudhry Usman, the owner of the illegal Ghouri Town Housing Society, sending him to Adiala Jail. Furthermore, he ordered the closure of the well-known Tehzeeb Bakery for failing to maintain proper hygiene standards.

Sardar Muhammad Asif’s relentless efforts in upholding the law and ensuring compliance with regulations reflect his integrity and commitment to justice. His actions continue to serve as a deterrent to unlawful practices and highlight the importance of maintaining ethical standards in development and business operations.
