Throughout his illustrious career, Jahangir Aslam has exhibited immense resilience and commitment to the ideals of journalism. His bravery is epitomized by an unfortunate incident in Baluchistan, where he sustained four bullet wounds in a violent attack, while in pursuit of truth and duty. Despite the perils, his dedication to journalism remained unfazed.
Having held esteemed positions in several journalistic associations in the past, Mr. Aslam’s reputation precedes him. His vast experience and leadership skills are a testament to his commitment to the betterment of the journalistic community.
Syed Bilal Izzat, the Secretary General of RIUJ, lauded the appointment by stating, “We are truly honored and proud to have Jahangir Aslam as our President. His leadership, experience, and indomitable spirit are invaluable assets for the RIUJ Workers.”
