Two SHOs got suspended followed by the punishment of rank reversion, one suspended for negligence and two warned.
Rawalpindi: CPO Rawalpindi Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari said that service delivery and the protection of life and property of citizens is the first priority for police officers. However, any negligence or carelessness on the part of officers will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said that only those officers who were committed to their duty and had a good track record would be able to work with him.
The CPO said that he would not tolerate any form of corruption or inefficiency in the police force and asked the officers to improve their performance. He also directed the officers to take strict action against those involved in criminal activities. This warning was issued by CPO during a recent crime meeting at Police Lines Headquarters.

Answers will also be sought from the SDPOs with regard to Tham, full crackdown should be done against absconders and organized and active gangs, keep in touch with the plaintiffs, ensure the timely completion of the challans of the cases. Supervise and investigate previous record holders , SHOs will conduct effective patrols in their respective areas daily from 07:00 PM to 12:00 PM, Supervisor Officers will supervise the patrols, Negligence and carelessness of any officer will not be tolerated under any circumstances, Service Delivery And the protection of life and property of citizens is the first priority, tolerance or negligence will not be tolerated.
