Pak-Afghan Border Tensions Escalate; Pakistan Conducts Targeted Airstrikes on Terrorist Hideouts

The situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border remains highly volatile as Islamabad intensified its retaliatory actions following persistent cross-border provocations. According to defense sources, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) carried out precision strikes in the Afghan provinces of Kandahar and Nangarhar, targeting hideouts used for planning attacks inside Pakistan.
​The operation successfully neutralized key militant infrastructure and command centers. These strikes were initiated in response to unprovoked firing from the Afghan side that targeted civilian populations and military outposts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
