President OGDC Housing Society Syed Bilal Izzat Thanks Prime Minister and Chief Minister Punjab for Decisive Actions in Murree

The President of the OGDC Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi, has extended heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, and Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, for their courageous and decisive actions against the notorious land grabbers in Murree.

In a recent statement, Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her bold leadership in tackling the rampant land-grabbing activities that have threatened the investments and properties of many law-abiding citizens. He noted the significant changes in the police command, initiated under her directive, which have already begun to restore confidence among the residents and members of various cooperative housing societies.

“We are incredibly grateful to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for taking such brave actions against those who seek to undermine the rights of the people. Her decisive steps in replacing key police officials involved in collusion with these criminal elements have sent a strong message that lawlessness will not be tolerated,” said Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi.

He further expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his unwavering support in upholding the rule of law and making critical decisions that benefit the business community across Pakistan. “The Prime Minister’s commitment to justice and his support for the business community have provided us with the reassurance that our investments and livelihoods are being safeguarded. His administration’s efforts to curb the influence of land mafias, not just in Murree but throughout the country, are truly commendable,” he added.

Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi highlighted the importance of cooperative housing societies, which are formed by members who invest their hard-earned money in securing plots for their families. He emphasized that if the government does not act against land grabbers, these members’ investments could be at serious risk. “The business community is thankful to the government of Pakistan for standing firm against this mafia and their supporters within the police and revenue departments. The government’s actions are a beacon of hope for all who believe in justice and the rule of law.”

The OGDC Employees Cooperative Housing Society, along with other concerned citizens, stands in full support of the government’s ongoing efforts to dismantle these criminal networks and ensure a safe and secure environment for all investors and residents in Pakistan.
