President Zardari to Address Joint Session of Parliament Tomorrow; Strict Security Finalized

President Asif Ali Zardari is scheduled to address a joint session of the Parliament tomorrow (Monday). According to a statement issued by the Presidency, the session has been summoned in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan. The President will highlight the country’s current political and economic landscape, border challenges, and the future roadmap for government policies.
​Extraordinary and strict security arrangements have been finalized in Parliament House and the Red Zone for this important constitutional event. Invitations have been dispatched to all Federal Ministers, Members of Parliament, and the Services Chiefs to attend the session. Members of the diplomatic corps have also been invited on this occasion.
