Gujranwala (Correspondent): Leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have emphasized the importance of national unity in the war against terrorism, stating that the entire nation must stand united to eradicate the scourge of terrorism from its roots. They also paid a glowing tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in this fight. Prominent PML-N figures, including former Provincial Minister Chaudhry Iqbal Gujjar, former MPAs Pir Ghulam Fareed and Haji Abdul Rauf Mughal, MNA Shazia Fareed, ticket holder for PP-60 Moazzam Rauf Mughal, candidate for PP-65 Pir Amir Fareed, and City Vice President Jamshed Ayub Butt, strongly condemned the recent acts of terrorism. They asserted that the nation must unite to eliminate terrorism, noting that Pakistani security forces and the public have sacrificed thousands of lives, and these sacrifices will not be allowed to go in vain. In their joint statement, they declared that terrorism is an open conspiracy against the country, its people, and peace. They emphasized that elements targeting innocent civilians, security personnel, and defenseless individuals are enemies of humanity, and it is imperative to bring them to justice and ensure they face exemplary punishment. The PML-N leaders further stated that the enemies of Pakistan are attempting to spread fear, chaos, and instability, but the entire nation stands firmly with its brave armed forces, police, and other security agencies. They added that the sacrifices of the martyrs in the war against terrorism represent a proud chapter in national history, and these sacrifices serve to further strengthen the nation’s resolve.
