Vigilant Senior Special Magistrate Sardar M. Asif Saves Islamabad’s Green Legacy

ISLAMABAD: Senior Special Magistrate, Sardar Muhammad Asif, once again proved his unwavering commitment to safeguarding the environment and fighting corruption, with a timely intervention in the Chak Shehzad area.

 

Sources close to the Magistrate confirmed his hands-on approach and vigilant nature, which has earned him a reputation of intolerance towards any form of corruption. Notably, Sardar Muhammad Asif maintains strong personal connections within the rural sectors of Islamabad, allowing him to garner crucial information from locals who trust him.

 

In a recent incident, acting on a tip-off regarding illegal tree cutting activities at Atif Bokhari’s farmhouse located in C13B street 4, Chak Shehzad, the Magistrate himself led a raid to apprehend the culprits. Despite their attempt to destroy the green cover, Sardar Muhammad Asif’s prompt action ensured that 30 trees were saved from damage. However, before the intervention, 10 trees had unfortunately been cut down.

 

Expressing his resolve, the Senior Special Magistrate, in a conversation with the Daily Information Times, mentioned the clear directives he operates under. “We have explicit instructions from the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Mr. Noor-ul-Amin Mingal, to ensure that culprits involved in such activities face the consequences.”

 

This incident not only highlights the threat to Islamabad’s green spaces but also underlines the unwavering commitment of officials like Sardar Muhammad Asif. With leaders like him in the forefront, residents are hopeful for a greener and more sustainable Islamabad.
