Islamabad – Assistant Commissioner (AC) Saddar Islamabad Dr Sania Pasha has inspected the availability of essential commodities including fruits, vegetables, milk and meat at the notified rates in Golra market.
The shopkeepers have been directed to display the price list of all items at their shops and no overcharging would be tolerated. The Assistant Commissioner also checked the cleanliness arrangements at the shops. He issued on-the-spot instructions for improving cleanliness and directed the sanitary staff to ensure regular cleaning of the market.
During the inspection, one shopkeeper was arrested for overcharging and his shop sealed.
Moreover Two illegal gas stations selling open gasoline have been sealed by her ,and the shopkeepers have been transferred to Police Station Shalimar, Fair price stall at E-11 has been inspected and required action has been taken to increase the quality of fruits and vegetables by prioritising them.
