A special training workshop was organized at the Training Hall of the Director Agriculture Extension Gujranwala, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Extension Gujranwala and Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC).
The program was attended by Director Agriculture Extension Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, FFC Head of Farm Advisory Tariq Javed, field staff, fertilizer dealers, and a large number of farmers.
Addressing the workshop, experts provided a detailed briefing to the participants on modern paddy production technology, disease and pest management, and the use of balanced fertilizers. Director Pest Warning Ghulam Ghous informed about the harmful effects of prohibited pesticides in paddy, while Dr. Mazhar Farid and Assistant Director Ghulam Farid highlighted better crop management.
At the end of the ceremony, Director Agriculture Extension Dr. Shakeel Ahmed distributed laptops to the agriculture department officers under the ‘Modernization of Agriculture Extension Services Punjab’ initiative.
