In this connection, Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Muhammad Ali, paid a detailed visit to Liaquat Park to review the ongoing development scheme. Inspection of the 700,000-Gallon Water Tank During his visit, Commissioner Muhammad Ali specifically inspected the under-construction underground water storage tank, which has a capacity of 700,000 gallons. He meticulously reviewed the construction quality, progress achieved so far, and various technical aspects of the project. On-site officials briefed him thoroughly regarding the current phases and the expected completion timeline. Strict Instructions for Timely Completion and Quality The Commissioner issued strict directives to the concerned authorities to ensure the project is completed with high quality, complete transparency, and within the stipulated timeframe, as envisioned by the Chief Minister. “No compromise will be tolerated on the quality of construction work. Every phase will be regularly monitored to ensure the project remains durable and effectively meets public needs,” Commissioner Muhammad Ali emphasized. Objective of the Punjab Development Program He further stated that the core objective of the Punjab Development Program is to modernize urban infrastructure and permanently improve the water supply system. He directed all relevant departments to work in close coordination to maintain the momentum of the work so that the citizens of Gujranwala can benefit from this vital public facility as soon as possible.
