Gujranwala (July 30, 2026) — In light of special instructions from the Director General of Public Relations Punjab, Divisional Director of Public Relations Gujranwala, Munawar Hussain, conducted a detailed visit to the District Public Relations Office, Gujrat. The purpose of the visit was to review office affairs, management, and field performance.
During the visit, he carefully inspected the attendance register, office records, press handouts, photo archives, and computerized records, which were overall deemed satisfactory. He appreciated the staff for the office’s cleanliness and excellent discipline, while also issuing immediate orders for the repair of dilapidated furniture to provide better facilities to the staff.
On this occasion, District Information Officer Gujrat, Usman Ahmed Sindhu, briefed him that due to long-vacant positions, the existing staff is bearing an additional workload, alongside facing issues such as budget constraints. Taking notice of these issues, Director of Public Relations Munawar Hussain recommended to the relevant authorities for prompt appointments to vacant positions, the provision of an adequate budget, and the supply of a new vehicle for field activities. He reiterated the resolve that such monitoring processes will continue in order to make the department’s performance more modern and effective.
