April, 23 : Actors Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane, who got married in 2016, have put all separation rumours to rest this year on Eid. The couple, who stopped posting pictures together a while ago and did not comment on their relationship status even while promoting their film Tich Button, posted loved-up pictures on Instagram.
On Saturday, Hocane and Saeed’s solo pictures across the same background took fans by surprise and speculations began about their possible reunion. Moments later, the duo posted a series of pictures together to shun all rumours about their married life.
“Eid Mubarak” read the caption of their joint post. Hocane looked gorgeous in a pastel pink outfit with intricate but heavy silver embellishments. She tied her hair in a braid and accessorised them with gajras and kept her makeup minimal for the daytime look while Saeed looked dapper in a white textured shalwar kameez and black sunnies.
Fellow actors Momal Sheikh, Ayesha Omar, Saboor Aly, Yashma Gill and Zara Noor Abbas commented on the post and showered the couple with love. Fans, too, were excited about an update on the couple’s relationship. “Can’t believe this! Had to double-check if it was your actual official account. Glad to know you’re back and happy,” wrote a user.
Last year, during promotions for Tich Button, Saeed reacted to local media personnel asking about his marital status and whether he has separated from Hocane. “No, we are alright,” he had said, denying all rumours. “Urwa and I have decided that we will not make our life very public. The masses just have so much to say about everything and some of their comments can be hurtful. We just want to keep some parts of our lives to ourselves,” he stated.
The couple got married in 2016 in an intimate affair at Badshahi Mosque. Their grand wedding included three dholkis, a nikkah, a qawwali night, and a grand wedding reception. Their love story began when Saeed asked his now-wife to marry him at Eiffel Tower, Paris.
