Dear members of the Islamabad Bar Association! It is essential for your knowledge that today unknown, unauthorized and unrelated person persons on social networks have used the name of Islamabad Bar Association to post the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf’s previous statement, about which Contempt of Court is pending in the Islamabad High Court, using a fabricated and false notice/resolution/statement issued in the name of Islamabad Bar Association with the intention to create confusion in the nation, Islamabad Bar Association strongly condemns and declares its disassociation from this statement and the Bar has not called for any protests whatsoever, the Bar will also investigate and take legal and administrative action.
