Islamabad, August 19, 2023: In a proactive move to address citizens’ concerns and grievances, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Faisal Saleem hosted an open court session at the Police Lines Headquarters. This initiative provided an opportunity for citizens to voice their complaints directly, enabling relevant officers to issue directives and instructions on the spot. The open court also entailed a commitment to conduct legal proceedings within specified timeframes based on the registered complaints.
The open court, chaired by SSP Faisal Saleem, witnessed a significant turnout of residents who utilized the platform to share their concerns, ranging from issues related to law and order to community safety. The initiative exemplified the Islamabad Police’s dedication to bridging the gap between the police force and the community it serves.
Upon hearing the grievances and complaints, SSP Faisal Saleem promptly issued instructions to the concerned officers to take necessary actions. Marked applications were submitted during the open court, detailing the nature of the issues and requesting timely legal action. The SSP emphasized the importance of addressing citizens’ complaints efficiently and ensuring that the rule of law prevails.
In line with this commitment, SSP Faisal Saleem directed the relevant officers to initiate legal proceedings within the stipulated timeframes and report back on the progress. This approach not only demonstrates the police force’s responsiveness but also showcases its commitment to upholding justice and accountability.
