President of PFUJ Workers Pervaiz Shaukat Successfully Organizes Training Workshop to Bridge the Journalism Gap Between Baluchistan and Islamabad


ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalism (PFUJ) workers, led by its esteemed President, Pervaiz Shaukat, organized a transformative training workshop at PID Islamabad for journalists hailing from Baluchistan. The event aimed to bridge the geographical and informational gap between journalists from far-flung areas of Baluchistan and their counterparts in Islamabad. PIO/MD APP, Muhammad Asim Khichi, inaugurated the event with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of unity and training in journalism.

 

“The journalists from Baluchistan will go back with the love and respect they have received in Islamabad, contributing to a positive image,” said Pervaiz Shaukat during the workshop. The initiative is a part of PFUJ’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the skills and network of journalists across Pakistan, ensuring that no region is left behind in the era of fast-paced media evolution.

The workshop was graced by the presence of senior journalists from Baluchistan such as Mehboob Shahwani, Ghulam Hussain, Faiz Muhammad Nichari, Shoaib Azal, Zia U Rehman, Mukhtiar Ahmad Qadri, and Maqbool Gul Magochar. Representing Islamabad were Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi, Editor of Daily Information Times, Sadia Kamal, Muneeb Bukhari, GM of Daily Eman Islamabad, Syed Toqeer Sherazi, GM of Daily ASAS, Najaf Raza Sherazi, Umer Akhtar Raja, Mehtab Kazmi, Amir Shah, Dedar Ali Qazi, among others. All participants were honored with shields in recognition of their dedication to journalism.

Adding value to the workshop, senior journalists Tahir Rathor and Hafiz Tahir Khalil shared their personal experiences and offered valuable insights. Their testimonials served as educational narratives for the participants, enabling them to understand the ground realities and challenges of the journalism profession.
