Suthra Punjab: MD Abdul Razzaq Dogar Reviews Sanitation and Drainage Arrangements in Gujranwala

Gujranwala (July 30, 2026) — Under Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Suthra Punjab” vision, activities are progressing rapidly to provide citizens with excellent sanitation and rainwater drainage facilities during monsoon rains. In this regard, Managing Director / CEO Suthra Punjab Agency Gujranwala, Abdul Razzaq Dogar, conducted a detailed visit to Union Council No. 67 Arop and its adjoining areas.

During the visit, he meticulously inspected field operations for cleanliness, door-to-door waste collection, and the clearance of open waste heaps at various locations including Maafi Wala, Arop, Kotli Arbing, Johar Town, Al-Badr Town, the railway track, and Haidari Road. While receiving performance briefings from the concerned officers, he directed that the timely drainage of water from low-lying areas during the monsoon must be ensured at all costs. He warned that no negligence in sanitation work would be tolerated and that all areas must be maintained at zero waste.

MD Abdul Razzaq Dogar further stated that zonal officers must ensure their presence in the field and keep machinery on high alert to tackle any emergency situations. He expressed his resolve that all available resources are being utilized to make Gujranwala clean and beautiful.
