Journalists to Protest Misconduct by CTO Rawalpindi and Traffic Warden

Rawalpindi – The journalists of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, including representatives from Rawat, Kalar Syedan, Mandra, and Gujarkhan, will hold a massive protest in front of the RPO office Rawalpindi tomorrow at 10:00 AM. The protest is in response to the egregious misconduct by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Taimoor Khan, and Traffic Warden Imtiaz Madni towards senior journalist Makhdom Sabir Naqvi.

This collective action follows an incident where CTO Taimoor Khan and Traffic Warden Imtiaz Madni exhibited unacceptable behavior towards Makhdom Sabir Naqvi, a respected member of the journalistic community. Their actions are seen as not only disrespectful to an individual but also as an affront to the freedom and dignity of all journalists.

The Rawalpindi and Islamabad Union of Journalists, along with their counterparts from surrounding areas, stand united in demanding accountability and respect for the press. The protest aims to highlight the need for proper conduct and respect from public officials towards journalists who perform their duties under challenging conditions.
