Islamabad, Aug 15 : A tragic incident unfolded in the vicinity of Karachi Company, Islamabad in 2021, where a valiant police officer Head Constable Rashid severely injured while bravely facing terrorists. Today Head Constable Rashid tragically lost his life.
The fallen officer’s funeral prayers were offered at the Police Lines Headquarters in a solemn ceremony attended by a significant number of senior police officers, including ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, along with a multitude of young officers.
A deeply moving tribute was paid to the martyr as a wreath of honor adorned his casket. Senior officers draped the casket with floral shrouds, reflecting the nation’s profound respect and gratitude for his selfless dedication.
The mortal remains of the hero were transported to his ancestral village with full state honors. The procession symbolized the collective reverence for the officer who displayed exceptional courage in the face of adversity.
Head Constable Rashid’s valorous act of confronting terrorists will be remembered as an act of sheer bravery. Alongside his fellow officers, he valiantly engaged the terrorists, ensuring justice prevailed in the face of danger.
In recognition of his dedication, Head Constable Rashid’s son will be given the opportunity to join the police force, continuing the legacy of service to the nation.
To commemorate his extraordinary bravery, the name of Head Constable Rashid will be proposed for the Tamgha-e-Shujaat (Medal of Bravery), an honor that reflects his commitment and sacrifice.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan extended his heartfelt condolences and directed unwavering support for the bereaved family, exemplifying the solidarity of the police force during this challenging time. Ensuring the well-being of the martyr’s family is of paramount importance and will be meticulously looked after in every possible manner.
