Capital Police College Hosts Psychological Workshop to Enhance DSPs’ Mental Abilities

Islamabad, Oct 10: Capital Police College conducted a psychological workshop with the aim of enhancing the mental capabilities of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) who have received their training at the college. The workshop, led by Dr. Mariam Shah and Dr. Nagina Jahan, sought to provide valuable insights and tools for the mental development and well-being of these officers.

The workshop, designed to bolster the psychological strengths of DSPs, was a collaborative effort between the Capital Police College and the expertise of Dr. Mariam Shah and Dr. Nagina Jahan. It focused on addressing the unique challenges and demands of a career in law enforcement, emphasizing the importance of mental resilience, stress management, and effective decision-making in high-pressure situations.

Dr. Mariam Shah and Dr. Nagina Jahan, both esteemed psychologists, brought their extensive knowledge and experience to the training session. They shared valuable insights and strategies to help DSPs cope with the rigors of their profession while ensuring their own psychological well-being. Topics included stress management techniques, emotional intelligence, and strategies for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
