“Suthra Punjab” Vision: CEO GWMC Abdul Razzaq Dogar Visits Various Areas, Reviews Sanitation & Billing Survey

CEO GWMC & MD Suthra Punjab Agency Abdul Razzaq Dogar Conducts Comprehensive City Visit and Chairs High-Level Progress Meeting
GUJRANWALA: In line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryum Nawaz Sharif’s “Suthra Punjab” (Clean Punjab) initiative, the CEO of Gujranwala Waste Management Company (GWMC) and Managing Director of Suthra Punjab Agency Gujranwala, Abdul Razzaq Dogar, conducted an extensive visit to various areas of the city, including Agency Wala Bazaar, Malik Park, Rattoki, Bajwa Colony, and Bhutta Abadi.
On-Site Inspection of Sanitation and Field Operations
During his visit, the CEO closely reviewed the overall sanitation situation, staff attendance, field operations, waste collection processes, and the timely disposal of garbage and waste.
Issuing on-the-spot instructions to the relevant officers and field staff, he emphasized that the standard of cleanliness in all areas must be further upgraded and the waste collection process must be made faster and more efficient. He warned that any negligence or complacency in providing top-tier sanitation facilities to the citizens would not be tolerated.
Mr. Abdul Razzaq Dogar reiterated that under the Suthra Punjab program, vigorous measures are being taken to maintain high sanitation standards, ensure continuous monitoring of field operations, and provide a clean and healthy environment to the residents. He made it clear that delivering quality sanitation services is the foremost priority of both the district administration and GWMC.
Joint Review Meeting on Billing Survey and Recovery Targets
Following his field visit, CEO/MD Suthra Punjab Agency Abdul Razzaq Dogar chaired an important joint review meeting. The session was attended by TMOs, DMOs, billing managers, GWMC officials, and waste management contractors.
The meeting took a detailed review of strategic matters, including:
The progress of the ongoing billing survey.
Revenue recovery targets.
Overall performance of field operations.
Quality of the survey, data accuracy, and its timely completion.
During the session, the concerned officers briefed the CEO on the progress made so far, and discussed the operational challenges faced in the field along with their potential solutions.
Directives on Data Accuracy and Accountability
CEO Abdul Razzaq Dogar directed the authorities to ensure 100% transparency, accuracy, and timely completion of the billing survey. He emphasized that all data gathered during the survey must be completely authentic and comprehensive to make the billing system more effective and ensure the timely achievement of recovery targets.
He concluded by stating that, as per the vision of Chief Minister Maryum Nawaz Sharif, improving institutional performance, ensuring transparency, effective monitoring, and delivering civic amenities to the public remain their highest priorities. He categorically warned that no laxity would be tolerated in field operations, billing surveys, or the recovery process; however, officers and field staff demonstrating outstanding performance would be fully encouraged and rewarded.
