Gujranwala: Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Muhammad Ali, continued his field inspections of ongoing development projects on Sunday. During his visit, he thoroughly reviewed the beautification schemes currently underway in Satellite Town. On this occasion, he issued clear directives to the relevant authorities, emphasizing that construction work must meet high-quality standards and be completed within the stipulated timeline to ensure citizens receive improved urban facilities without delay. Following this, Commissioner Muhammad Ali reviewed the sewage and other infrastructure development projects being executed under the PDP scheme. During the briefing, he assessed the progress of the projects, the utilization of funds, and the completion schedules. He underscored that the use of substandard materials in any development project will not be tolerated. He further warned that strict action would be taken against those responsible for any negligence or delays in the timely completion of these works. The Commissioner stated that, in accordance with the policies of the Punjab government, improving urban infrastructure, strengthening the drainage system, and providing a beautiful urban environment remain the top priorities. He directed the relevant officers to ensure continuous monitoring in the field so that the public can reap the benefits of these development schemes as soon as possible.
