Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed Conducts Surprise Visit to Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital, Gondlanwala Gujranwala: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Gujranwala Naveed Ahmed conducted a surprise visit to the Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital, Gondlanwala, to assess the medical facilities provided to patients and review administrative affairs. During the visit, the DC inspected various wards and inquired after the health of the patients under treatment. He spoke directly with the patients and their families to inquire about the provision of free medicines and the conduct of doctors and paramedical staff. The Deputy Commissioner also checked the standards of cleanliness and the attendance of medical staff at the hospital. The Additional Deputy Commissioner strictly directed the hospital administration that no negligence in patient care would be tolerated. He ordered that elevators and other facilities be kept functional without interruption to ensure that senior citizens and persons with disabilities do not face any difficulties. Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed stated that, in accordance with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, providing quality and dignified medical facilities in government hospitals is the top priority of the district administration. He urged the administration to treat patients with kindness, maintain transparency in the availability of medicines, and ensure the immediate redressal of public complaints.
