ISLAMABAD – The Chief Editor of the Daily Information Times Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi recently commended the vigilance and dedication to duty shown by SHO Karachi Company Islamabad, Ashfaq Memon, during a midnight drive through the Serinagar Highway.
The editor was particularly struck by SHO Memon’s and his team strategic presence and intelligent handling of his role. In his observation, he noted that the police officer’s vigilant conduct did not disrupt any citizen’s activities. Yet, the signature police lights on his vehicle and the sky-blue shirt he wore served as strong deterrents to any potential criminal activity in the vicinity.
“These visual indicators not only presented a formidable deterrent to criminals but also provided a comforting sense of security to law-abiding citizens,” said the Chief Editor. He emphasized how these subtle yet powerful symbols of authority played a significant role in creating a secure environment.
He further added, “If all Station House Officers (SHOs) in Islamabad exhibit the same level of dedication and vigilance as SHO Memon, we can anticipate a swift reduction in criminal activities. His commitment to duty is a testament to the potential impact of our law enforcement efforts when carried out meticulously.”
The Chief Editor’s comments underscore the importance of vigilance and the visibility of law enforcement officers in controlling crime. He praised SHO Memon’s adept handling of his responsibilities and expressed hope that his observations would encourage other officers to follow suit, thus ensuring a safer Islamabad for all its residents.
By drawing attention to SHO Memon’s conduct, the Daily Information Times hopes to spur a wider discussion about the role of police officers in society and how their visible presence can contribute to a sense of security among the citizens.
