Mand Bahauddin: In light of the instructions of the Director General of Public Relations Punjab, Director Information Gujranwala Division Munawar Hussain paid a surprise visit to the District Information Office Mandi Bahauddin. On this occasion, District Information Officer Mandi Bahauddin Muhammad Qasim Ranjha, Senior Clerk Rana Muhammad Atif, Driver Munawar Gondal, and Muhammad Shehzad were also present.
During the visit, the Director Information inspected various sections of the office, conducted a detailed review of office affairs, and checked employee attendance and record maintenance. While receiving a briefing on ongoing official publicity activities, he emphasized that the Directorate General of Public Relations acts as a bridge between the government and the public; therefore, all officials should perform their duties with honesty and professional competence.
Munawar Hussain strictly instructed adherence to punctuality and office discipline, stating that the timely publicity of welfare projects and government policies is the department’s top priority. He also placed special emphasis on effectively conveying district administration activities to the public through print, electronic, and digital media. Finally, he expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the office.
