ISLAMABAD, June 11 : In a groundbreaking operation, SHO Shafqat Faiz, the fearless and determined leader of Kohsar Police Station, has dealt a severe blow to organized crime by apprehending three notorious individuals linked to the infamous gang headed by Romeo Killer.
The gang, known for its audacious activities, had been involved in multiple snatching incidents across various areas of Islamabad, including Hill Road, Parbat Road, Blue Area, Fazal-ul-Haq Road, Stock Exchange Market, Sector F-6, and Sector F-7. Their illicit activities knew no bounds, as they even targeted media representatives and a French citizen, robbing them of high-value items and iPhones during their snatching endeavors.
Promptly responding to this menace, ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, took immediate notice and assigned the task of apprehending the gang members and recovering the stolen goods to the dedicated team led by SHO Kohsar, Shafqat Faiz. With their strategic planning and meticulous execution, the SHO Shafqat Faiz, ASI Fawad Khalid and their team successfully apprehended the three culprits, confiscating a 125cc motorcycle used in their operations, weapons with ammunition, 16 valuable mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees, and a significant amount of cash.
Taking swift action, ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan wasted no time in issuing a directive to bring down this criminal network. Tasked with the mission, the team led by SHO Kohsar, Shafqat Faiz, meticulously planned and executed the operation, resulting in the successful capture of the three culprits. The recovered evidence is staggering, with over 16 valuable mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees, a significant sum of cash,125cc motorcycle used in their operations, weapons with ammunition, and an array of snatched items worth millions of rupees seized.
Furthermore, during the initial investigation, the arrested individuals disclosed information about more than 25 snatching incidents. Apart from the jurisdiction of Kohsar Police Station, their illegal activities also extended to the boundaries of Karachi Company, Abpara, and Industrial Area. These culprits possess a dangerous criminal history, and efforts are underway to recover additional cases related to their previous crimes, including the iPhone theft from the French citizen and the media anchor. Detailed information about the recovered mobile phones’ IMEI numbers is also being documented.
