Gujranwala (July 17, 2026): In a joint statement, former PML-N Provincial Minister Chaudhry Iqbal Gujjar, former MPA Haji Abdul Rauf Mughal, PP-60 ticket holder Moazzam Rauf Mughal, and City Vice President Jamshed Ayub Butt stated that the martyrs of the Pakistan Army are the nation’s greatest pride. They remarked that the courage, bravery, and sense of duty demonstrated by Pakistan Army officers and soldiers to establish peace and protect the lives and property of the people is a golden chapter in history.
The leaders further added that the nation and future generations owe a debt to these martyrs and their families that can never be repaid. They emphasized that terrorist elements are open enemies of Pakistan’s peace, progress, and stability, but the Pakistani people stand shoulder to shoulder with their brave armed forces at every turn. National unity is the most critical need of the hour to thwart the nefarious designs of anti-state forces. Paying tribute to the leadership of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, the PML-N leaders stated that the Pakistan Army is playing an extremely effective role in eradicating terrorism, defending borders, and ensuring national security. They noted that due to his vision and leadership capabilities, Pakistan’s defense has become stronger and more stable than ever before.
