RAWALPINDI: In a resolute drive against the scourge of drugs and rampant criminal activities, the Rawalpindi police, under the dynamic leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Rawalpindi, Faisal Saleem, have launched an extensive operation against the mafias involved.

This decision comes on the heels of a stringent directive issued by the Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, emphasizing the need for rigorous actions against those involved in drug trafficking and heinous crimes, and urging for a cleaner, safer province.

Both the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi SYED KHURRAM ALI  and the City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani have lent their unwavering support and resources to this mission, focusing on rooting out the deep-seated criminal networks within the region.

The commitment of SSP Faisal Saleem has already proven transformative in various operations in Rawalpindi. With this renewed mandate, Saleem and his diligent team are dedicated to ensuring that the drug mafias and criminals face the full might of the law. Early reports indicate significant arrests and seizures of illicit substances.

Communities have warmly welcomed this grand operation, feeling reassured by the decisive actions of law enforcement agencies. A local resident mentioned, “We’ve been praying for an end to the drug menace in our locality. With officers like SSP Faisal Saleem on the frontlines, we are hopeful.”

IG Punjab, in his directive, emphasized that “No stone should be left unturned in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the residents of Punjab.” And as evident from the swift actions of RPO, CPO, and SSP Operations Rawalpindi, the region is poised to witness significant progress in this challenging endeavor.

The message is clear – Rawalpindi police, backed by a robust leadership chain, is determined to rid the region of its criminal elements, ensuring a safer environment for all its residents.
