Innocent Girl Allegedly Raped and Blackmailed by Ghazi University Professors

Dera Ghazi Khan, Aug 10 : In a rallying cry for justice and accountability, students of Ghazi University are raising their voices to address disturbing allegations of misconduct involving two professors.

Sana Shah, a courageous student pursuing a degree in BS Physics, has stepped forward with allegations of sexual misconduct and blackmail involving professors Dr. Zafar Wazir and Dr. Khalid Khattak, and she is now appealing higher management authorities for swift and decisive action.

Sana Shah’s revelation has ignited a wave of empathy and action across the student body and beyond. According to Sana Shah’s, she was called to the professors’ hostel where she claims she was sexually assaulted. In the aftermath, both she and her sister were allegedly subjected to threats and blackmail, compelling their silence and preventing them from reporting the alleged incident to university authorities.

Sana’s sister, who is also pursuing a BS degree from the same university, complaints that Dr. Khalid Khattak has  blackmailed her, claiming that Sana and Dr. Zafar Wazir were in a relationship, and using this as leverage to threaten her with violence, including the threat of rape.

Vice Chancellor of Ghazi University has received applications and complaints against professors before but he is not taking any action. The perceived lack of responsiveness from the Vice-Chancellor’s office and the university administration has deepened the sense of concern.

Sana Shah’s heartfelt plea for justice has added urgency to the cause, as she warns of burning herself, if her appeal be ignored.  She has directly called on HEC and other higher management authorities to step in and ensure accountability.
