Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan Convenes Press Conference at National Press Club on Pakistan’s Martyrs’ Day to Honor the Sacrifices

Islamabad, May 25: The central leader of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan, Pir Khalid Sultan Al-Qadri, has stated that Pakistan is our life, and the armed forces of Pakistan are our pride. We will not tolerate any disrespect towards the martyrs of our nation. It is essential to eliminate those elements who have engaged in anti-state activities under the guise of politics. Every child of this country stands united today with the armed forces for the dignity, honor, and glory of Pakistan. Through the observance of Pakistan’s Martyrs’ Day, the entire nation has proven that they are true Pakistanis and have deep love for their Pakistan Army.

Jamaat Ahle Sunnat firmly believes in the ideology of national unity and considers the defense of Pakistan’s intellectual and ideological boundaries as its foremost objective. They are prepared to make any sacrifices necessary for the safety and autonomy of Pakistan. They categorically reject any interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs. It is imperative for the global powers to understand that Pakistan is an independent and sovereign nation.

Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan remains vigilant against conspiracies and especially those plotted against Islam and Pakistan. They will not allow any conspiracy to succeed against Pakistan. Pir Khalid Sultan Al-Qadri, the central leader of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan, along with his companions, Pir Syed Shabir Hussain Shah (Provincial Amir, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan – Federal and Northern Regions), Sahibzada Muhammad Usman Ghani (Central Organizer, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan – Rawalpindi Division), Mufti Muhammad Islam Ziaee (Divisional Organizer, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan – ICT), Pir Muhammad Gulzar Naqshbandi (Central Council Member, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan), Raja Riazat Hussain (District Organizer) and others, held a press conference at the National Press Club in Islamabad.

During the press conference, Pir Khalid Sultan Al-Qadri reiterated that Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan is a purely religious organization and has no affiliation with any political party or group. The Jamaat Ahle Sunnat is consistently engaged in the protection of the honor of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the defense of the belief in the finality of Prophethood, and the respect and reverence for the companions and family of the Prophet.

Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, particularly the esteemed leaders including Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Maulana Hasrat Mohani, Maulana Abdul Sattar Khan Niazi, Pir Sahib Manki Sharif, Maulana Abdul Hameed Badayuni, and Pir Syed Jamaat Ali Shah, along with thousands of scholars and spiritual leaders, sacrificed their lives for the creation of beloved Pakistan. They stated that recently, through newspapers, electronic media, and social media, three significant developments have emerged that hold great importance for us.

Firstly, some members of the American Parliament wrote a letter to their Secretary of State, using their influence to intervene in Pakistan’s internal politics. Secondly, some members of the Canadian Parliament demanded that their Prime Minister use his influence to interfere in Pakistan’s internal matters. Thirdly, a prominent Pakistani politician and a member of the American Parliament had a virtual conversation via Zoom, in which the American member invited discussions on Pakistani affairs. Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan strongly condemns these three actions, as they constitute interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs, which we cannot accept under any circumstances.

The international powers should understand that Pakistan is an independent and sovereign nation. We are ready to sacrifice everything for the security and self-determination of Pakistan. It deeply saddens us to acknowledge that during the past 75 years, numerous innocent Kashmiris have been martyred, and the honor of many innocent women has been violated.

Countless innocent children have been killed, and yet the members of the American or Canadian Parliament have not raised an effective voice in their support. We condemn these morally bankrupt parliamentarians. Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan remains vigilant against conspiracies aimed at the Muslim world and particularly against Pakistan. We are aware that the so-called Arab Spring was used as a pretext to destabilize countries like Libya, Iraq, and Syria. We will not allow any such conspiracy to succeed against Pakistan.

Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan has observed a Day of Remembrance for the martyrs of Pakistan throughout the country. They demanded that those who desecrate the memories of martyrs by burning effigies and images of soldiers and young men do not deserve any leniency.

The government should bring these vile elements to justice. Today, under the auspices of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan, children in schools and mosques recited the Quran and offered special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of the Pakistani Army. The Pakistani nation has never forgotten the sacrifices of the martyrs, and it will never forget them.
