October 11th, 2022, Kaira said that the PPP had always fought for the people of Pakistan and would continue to do so. Advisor to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) always have been striving for betterment of Pakistan and had no greed to remain in power while giving an interview to Syed Bilal Izzat Naqvi. He said that the party’s only goal was to serve the people of Pakistan and not to stay in power.
Kaira said that the PPP was committed to its principles and would never compromise on them. He said that the party would continue to fight for democracy and for the rights of the people of Pakistan.
He further added in an exclusive interview with Daily Information Times that government is committed to rehabilitate flood victims. He said that the top priority of the government is to provide relief and rehabilitation to those affect by the floods. He said that the government is working on a comprehensive plan to address the needs of the people. The advisor said that all resources will be utilized to help the people in need.
Qamar Zaman Kaira commented that Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan have the utmost autonomy for making their decision, as per Supreme Court’s decision and the current government has shown its intention to support the provinces of Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan regardless of political differences. This is a positive step forward in ensuring that all citizens of these areas are able to enjoy the same rights and privileges.
Kaira stressed that the government is committed to helping the people of Pakistan and that they are doing everything they can to make life better for everyone. He concluded by saying that he is confident that the country will soon be back on track.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the Pakistan’s current government, led by Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif, is on an economic recovery mission. After the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government left the country in a mess, Mian Shehbaz Sharif and his team are working hard to fix the problems.
The economy was in a much better condition when the PTI came into power. They made things worse by implementing wrong policies and making poor decisions. As a result, the country’s currency devalued, inflation increased, and unemployment rose.
