Unwavering Dedication of Mr. Usman Shines at Pakistan Youth Hostel Association

Islamabad – As dawn breaks and the world awakens, so does Mr. Usman, Administration Incharge of the Pakistan Youth Hostels Association (PHYA). But while the rest of the working world retires to their homes at 5 P.M., Mr. Usman remains at his desk, resolute in his commitment to the youth of Pakistan.

“It’s not just a job, it’s my passion and a calling,” said Mr. Usman in an exclusive interview with the Daily Information Times. “My utmost priority is the Pakistan Youth Hostel. We’re not just providing accommodation; we’re shaping the future of our nation.”

PHYA, a trust with a strong presence across all provinces of Pakistan, operates youth hostels that have become a haven for young travelers, students, and those seeking opportunities for self-development. The organization is affiliated with the International Youth Hostels Federation and boasts international connections in 56 countries, including India, USA, Germany, and Qatar.

Mr. Usman is responsible for managing all the Youth Hostels from the head office in Islamabad. His day-to-day responsibilities encompass a wide range of administrative duties – from staffing and operations to financial planning. However, what sets him apart is his unwavering dedication that stretches well beyond the standard duty hours.

“Working until 10 P.M. isn’t about clocking extra hours. It’s about ensuring that every detail is looked after, so the youth who rely on our hostels receive the best possible experience,” he explained.

Colleagues and hostel residents alike attest to Mr. Usman’s dedication. “I’ve never met someone so committed. He’s always here, always available, and constantly thinking of how to improve our services,” said Ayesha, a resident at one of the youth hostels in Lahore.

Through Mr. Usman’s efforts, PHYA has seen a surge in the quality of services offered, heightened engagement with the youth, and improvements in administrative efficiency. His approach serves as an example for others in the organization, inspiring a culture of dedication and loyalty.

“PHYA is not just an organization; it’s a movement for the empowerment of the youth in Pakistan. Every hostel is a home where dreams are nurtured, and Mr. Usman has been a guardian of these dreams,” commented Ms. Almas Shahid, a colleague.

As PHYA continues to expand its footprint, with plans for new hostels and programs tailored for the youth, the commitment displayed by Mr. Usman is not just commendable, but essential. His dedication serves as a gold standard, reinforcing the organization’s reputation as a hub for youth development in Pakistan and beyond.
