SIALKOT (Press Release): Mushtaq Ahmed Awan, Incharge of the Federal Ombudsman (Wafaqi Mohtasib) Regional Office Gujranwala, visited the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). During his visit, he held an important meeting with SCCI President Syed Ehtesham Mazhar and other high-ranking officials to brief them on the operations and jurisdiction of the Federal Ombudsman. During the meeting, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Awan presented the Chamber President with a list of 212 federal departments falling under the jurisdiction of the Federal Ombudsman. He proposed that the Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan is ready to link the Sialkot Chamber with its advanced online Complaint Management Information System (CMIS) portal to facilitate the business community and the general public. This initiative aims to ensure the swift and hassle-free resolution of public complaints against these 212 federal departments. President SCCI Syed Ehtesham Mazhar warmly welcomed this highly beneficial offer, stating that the Chamber would certainly leverage this online portal facility for the convenience of both the business community and the public. At the conclusion of the meeting, the SCCI President thanked Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Awan for his visit and presented him with a commemorative shield.
