Delegation from Peshawar Institute Visits Islamabad Police for Knowledge Exchange


Islamabad, July 31 : Thirty-third senior management course delegation from the Peshawar National Institute of Management embarked on a constructive visit to the capital city of Islamabad. The purpose of the visit was to foster knowledge exchange and gain insights into the capital’s police operations.

During their visit, they had a meeting with the ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, who graciously provided a comprehensive briefing on the city’s advanced policing system.

Led by the CPO Safe City and Traffic, the delegation was given an extensive tour of Islamabad, which included visits to the Command and Control Center, Centralized System of Islamabad, Data Hub Unit, and the Police Operations Center Hall, where they were briefed about the usage and effectiveness of modern technology, including camera surveillance and police operations, which have contributed significantly to enhancing law enforcement in the capital.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and valuable insights, the delegation was presented with an honorary shield by the ICCPO as a token of appreciation for their eagerness to collaborate and learn from the Islamabad Police’s experiences and practices.

In reciprocation, the delegation conveyed their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan and his dedicated team for their exceptional efforts in maintaining law and order. The visit emphasized the importance of exchanging knowledge and ideas among different institutions to strengthen the country’s overall security and law enforcement measures.
